This year, 25 KLEMM Bohrtechnik employees can look back on a total of 690 years of service to the company.
Once again we had the pleasure of welcoming an international group of visitors - this week our partner ECA with customers from the USA and Canada.
On the 10th of September at MATEXPO in Kortrijk, Tom Fransen, owner of OTTAER Funderingstechniek, along with his team, took delivery of their new KLEMM KR 806-3GS drilling rig.
We were delighted to welcome our US customers, together with BAUER Equipment of America, to their plant tour at KLEMM.
A highlight of their visit was getting the first glimpse of the brand new universal drilling rig KLEMM KR 800-3G.

Even the most robust drilling rigs need maintenance and repairs. A spare part not on hand, no matter how small, can, in the worst case, cause the machine, or even the construction site to come to a standstill.

At SOLSCOPE, numerous visitors were able to experience live the latest KLEMM technologies in the geothermal and anchor drilling technology segments. The international trade exhibition for drilling, geotechnics and special foundation takes place every two years in France, this year it took place in Lyon.
Compact and lightweight, the newly developed KR 708-3GW complements the KLEMM product range for cased drilling with a double-head drilling system in the near-surface geothermal energy sector.
In recent weeks, we have further modernized and standardized our machinery with two new DOOSAN CNC turning centers.

Compact dimensions, low weight and highly variable kinematics - our newly developed universal drilling rig KR 606-3 is predestined for extreme drilling positions in especially confined spaces. Due to the modular drilling rig concept, a wide spectrum of applications can be covered: underpinning, jet grouting, micro-piling, soil nailing and anchoring are all possible with what is currently the smallest and lightest KLEMM drilling rig available.
The KLEMM KR 805-3GW arrived at the premises of our partner AUVERGNE FORAGE in Lezoux, France, in perfect time for the drilling rig to be officially handed over as part of the Open Day. The very next day the drilling rig was already on the way to its first assignment - 150 km away in Bort-les-Orgues - where geothermal boreholes up to 200 m in depth are currently being drilled for the installation of a heating system.
No less than six KLEMM trainees have successfully passed their final exams.
Donations to regional institutions and organisations in the pre-Christmas season are a tradition at KLEMM Bohrtechnik. In addition to the company, the board of the Klemm charitable foundation had also decided to distribute a donation, so that a total of 11,800 euros was available this year.
With the purchase of its new anchor drilling rig, Tecimasa S.L.U., a Spanish Viuda de Sainz Group company and long-standing customer of KLEMM Bohrtechnik GmbH, relied once more, on state-of-the-art technology from KLEMM. In August a KR 806-4GM was commissioned in cooperation with KLEMM's partner KMMB Demolición y Perforación (Madrid), and the very first assignment took place at a construction site in the outskirts of the Basque industrial and port city of Bilbao.

Only recently handed over to KLEMM's long-standing customer GbE Grundbau Essen GmbH, the newly developed KLEMM KR 704-3G was put to work in a residential area on the outskirts of Essen.

The all-new KR 806-4GM universal anchor drilling rig was presented to an international trade show audience for the first time at CONEXPO/CON-AGG. The event is North America's largest construction expo and was held from March 10 to 13, 2020 in Las Vegas.
Belgium / Merksem – The Albert Canal, which connects the Meuse and the industrial areas of Liège with the Antwerp maritime port, stretches along for nearly 130 km, making it one of the main arteries for transporting goods by water in Belgium. In order to increase the capacity of the waterway to accommodate more and also larger ships, extensive expansion work has been taking place along the channel line.

KLEMM Bohrtechnik GmbH has recently handed over a new KR 708-3F anchor drilling rig with a KH 25 rotary head to Bau-ABC Rostrup for training purposes.
Unusual surroundings for a drill rig — the Catholic Sint Hendrik Church near Brussels is currently being renovated. The church was built between 1908 and 1911 in the neo-Gothic style, as a replica of a Dominican monastery.
At the BAUMA 2019, KLEMM will be once again presenting several new developments. The focus of the exhibits is on innovations in the field of kinematics and device control as well as on the topics of energy efficiency and functional safety.
As in recent years Klemm Bohrtechnik once again supports an excellent student for one year within the scholarship program “Deutschlandstipendium”. The main object of this scholarship is to promote talents and to enable closer contacts to the local industry.
